Plain City Steam Show. Part 1 – Parade

Plain City Steam Show 2011 is over, but we have a lot of impressions, and also I got a lot of photos.
This is a traditional Plain City Event. Each year for 3 days the city park is transformed to a camping area, you can see tracks, trailers and tents from very different places across the United States. Yeah, this event is definitely worth to visit it.
The first evening, on Friday, there was a Parade, it started from the Plain City Park right after 6pm, long line of tracks, cars, tractors and historical vehicles did a big circle following North Chillicothe St and after turned to West Main St to return in a while back to the park.
It was very hot, I don’t know how so many people and especially children survived that humid hell, but anyway I think the show was worth to be there.
The second day, Saturday, we spent the evening in the park watching the tractors and tracks drug racing. I’m from Europe, in my country we do not have such racings, now you can understand that I was quite impressed. I’ve never seen before a tractor or a track with over 1000 horse powers drug racing. If I add that the show finished deep at night, you will understand why I still see diesel trucks, with big tail of black fog, racing in the light of projectors.
The third lazy Event day is Sunday, it’s the end of the show, and we decided that we have enough for this weekend…

Classic Rewind Concert (part 2, retro)

Back to Saturday night and evening with our co-worker and friend Rich Fisher visiting concert of Classic Rewind at Classics in Gahanna at Stygler & Agler.
All the time during the concert I had a vision of few monochrome pictures in my mind. Yesterday I spent some time trying to put the photos and my visions together. Cars Show, part 1: few cars photos

The last Saturday we did visit Classic Car Show in Metro Center in Dublin OH.
This is pretty big yearly 3 days long event: July 9, 10 & 11, 2010. The official web site URL is http://www.arthritisautoshow.com/. According to the site, this is the historical event, also I never saw so many old and new, nice and shiny cars together, not only American, but also European cars too! And I saw many cars I’ve never seen before, also I try to learn more about american cars which aren’t available in Europe at all.
Perfect sunny day, a lot of people around, hundreds of interesting cars, I really enjoyed the time I spent there. That was awesome!

Let me share few cars pictures with you, no very exclusive cars, not some rare models, just few regular pictures I like.
